It's all about FREE SPEECH and respecting your privacy! Community Prime and Community Builder are committed to both. This is what makes us different...
-
COOKIES: Ever notice those annoying pop ups that ask you to accept a site's cookies? Those cookies allow sites to track where you visit. They can also be a security risk in certain circumstance so we don't use them at all!
-
E-MAIL ADDRESSES: Many social media sites see dollar signs from the data they collect such as e-mail address and they sell those emails as a list to vendors that try to monetize your email. We will NEVER sell your e-mail address to any vendor!
- IP ADDRESSES: Virtually ever social media platform (even the conservative ones) will record the IP addresses, machine type, browser manufacturer and various other data when you connect to their platform. This is done with the web hosting software like IIS or Apache. This is why we recommend using VPN software for surfing the web. However, we have our own web hosting machines and we set them specifically to NEVER record any of these data.
-
ENCRYPTED DATA: All of your important personal identifying data such as first name, last name, email address, and street address is stored as RSA encrypted data when you signup for an account. At no time is your personal information ever exposed as non-encrypted data. Even when you access your account information the data is decrypted and sent via an encrypted https channel to your computer. So the only time it is ever in a non-encrypted state is on your personal computer.
-
PERSONAL MESSAGES: As a member of Community Prime you may want to send another member a message. In most social media platforms these message are stored in plain text and anyone with access to the database could read them. However, in Community Prime we have built in a way for you to use military grade encryption for your personal messages. With the click of a mouse you can generate a public-private key pair and the system will use them to encrypt all of the message that are sent to you. The messages are stored as encrypted data and no-one will ever be able to read them without your private key.
Community Prime was designed and developed by Continuum Software Consulting, Inc.
